AGS believes in the learners who are precious natural resources, Christian citizens and builders of the future. These learners have natural, unique and innate multi-faceted intelligences which need to be discovered and developed.
AGS further believes in the moral development of the learners together with the skills in leadership, fellowship, decision making and pro-social behavior necessary to produce good and productive contributors of the society.
Specifically, and as embodied by the national goals and the philosophy and vision of AGS, the school academic community endeavors to develop these competences among the pupils:

The different subject areas for each level are:

The different areas are enriched with supplementary activities called Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) once a week. These activities include Voice Lesson, Swimming, Arts and Painting, Ballet, Modern Dance and Theatre and Arts.

The Pre-Elementary Department is housed in Carmen Building, named after Carmen O. Ilmedo, the beloved mother of the proprietors.  It has a landscaped façade and has three spacious and colorful rooms with computer units for the academic learning of Nursery, Kinder and Preparatory Pupils. Play Area and ECA Room, on the other hand, provide them a place where they can develop their special talents and skills.
